The Most Pleasant Surprise at Puerto de Las Nieves

Here in Gran Canaria we rented a car for only three days in order to explore the island. Today, we went to the highest point of the island, Pico Nieves, to get a good view. Well, that didn’t work out so well because we were simply high up in the clouds and fog with zero visability of the area below us.

But once we made our decent down the other side of the mountain to the west coast of the island we arrived at Puerto de las Nieves. And boy what a beautiful surprise!

I had always admired the aerial photos of natural pool of this sort but never imaged that I would get to experience them for myself. Thanks to Jake and the DJI Mavic Pro we were able to capture this stunning video!
